Full-Stack Developer, Linguist, Entrepreneur
Until 2023 I enjoyed my Japanese studies at the University of Heidelberg while working as a technical assistant in the IT department of the Centre for East Asian Studies. Due to a packed schedule, I had very little spare time, which I glady invested in the development of Unity projects. But also as an ambitious techical assistant, I was assigned the task as a full stack developer to rebuild the opensource project conifer.rhizome.org on an university internal server specialized to our needs. Priour to starting my Japanese studies at the East Asian Studies of Heidelberg University I was leading an ebay webshop. I had not only to observe and anticipate consumer behavior on a daily basis, but just as important, to win over newly acquired customers as repeat buyers. By building great analytical and negotiational skills I always have been able to meet my customers expectations by having a high product quality assurance, giving the best costumer support possible and supporting my coworkers. Due to my multicultural background and Japanese studies, it was not only of utmost importance for me to prove my great communicational skills, but I also am highly motivated and enjoy communicating and colaborating with people from all around the world.

My first contact with the administration of server-client structures. Under the supervision of Mr Vogt, I was responsible for first and second level support, troubleshooting hardware and software, and maintaining the institute's website and building a Single-page application called OpenDachs. This motivated me to gain valuable daily experience for about 6 years.
I had the pleasure of learning about Japanese culture and combining my knowledge of IT, video games and Japanese by writing my Bachelor's thesis on the evaluation of AI-generated video game translations.
